Marathon 1 Thursday 7:15 AM Emerald Bay
It was cold but I was absolutely ready to run the first 26.2 miles. I was still waiting for my running buddy Dan Marinsik who just had participated in the Rio del Lago 100 five days ago.
All runners were enjoying the views and eager to start.
At 7:15 AM sharp we were off running the downhills.
