jakob > The happiest race on earth! The last half-marathon I did was in June of 2005. I'm not too crazy about half-marathons because usually at the finish line I'm properly warmed up to run a race. No, I'm not kidding...
jakob > I heard that there were more than 15,000 runners this year and the event was sold out. There were 10,849 total finishers (4,442 males and 6,407 females).
jakob > 15 minutes before the start and the crowd is pumped up. The weather was really nice with a high of 81 Fahrenheit. Another runner told me that the year before it was really warm at the start and then got pretty hot during the day.
jakob > Sure have to have the infamous self-shot of my face LMAO... I yet have to really wake up even though a look at my screaming neon-yellow t-shirt should really shut every eyes wide open.
