The trail left its mark on my socks and legs. It sure felt nice to take the shoes off.
After me there were 17 more runners coming into the finish line. At the turn around point I was litteraly the 2nd last runner, no kidding. I passed 16 runners on the 2nd part and mostly in the last 10 miles.
I was all happy camper on my drive back watching the sunset until I realized that I forgot my drop bags at the finish line! I had to turn around and drive 25 miles back to get it. That should be prove enough that too much running does not make one smarter LOL.
